Rob Richardson

The founder and former owner and chairman of MegaSys, Mr. Richardson assumed the role of Senior Vice President, General Manager of MegaSys after the purchase of the company by Meridian IQ. 

While studying economics and computer programming at Tulsa University, he, also, studied Aeronautic Design at the Spartan School of Aeronautics.  He then obtained a pilot’s license in his spare time.  He began his career in transportation sales with Carolina Freight in 1985 and, three years later, was brought in as President of Allied Services.

Mr. Richardson later renamed the firm MegaSys, Inc. when he purchased the small company in 1988.  His innovative vision of customer service soon propelled MegaSys to the forefront of the logistics industry, and has twice earned him the honor of finalist for the INC. Magazine/Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
