Logistics U

Logistics U: Let’s move U into Logistics!

Learn how a career in logistics can be your connection to the world
Logistics U is a special session for High School Students at the Indiana Logistics Summit

Logistics U, a unique student-oriented experience designed to showcase the transportation and logistics industry as well as logistics-related college programs, internships, careers and scholarship opportunities, attracted 110 students from seven high schools in 2015. Participating schools included Connersville High School, The Excel Center, North Putnam Senior High School, North Side High School (Ft. Wayne), Pike High School, Plymouth High School and Sullivan High School. Purdue University, Vincennes University, the University of Evansville and Ivy Tech Community College provided representatives to not only answer student questions about logistics courses and degrees available, but also engage them in hands-on activities designed to stimulate their interest in the field. In addition, students interacted with logistics employers and Summit presenters. Since Logistics U began in 2012, 18 high schools from around the state have participated.
